Bold and sculptural, Ember is built around large hand-cut Persian red agate stones from Iran's Kerman province — each one warm, translucent, with a depth of orange-red that deepens the longer you look. On the opposite half of the bracelet, slender freshwater pearl bars sit in a coral-like rhythm, catching the light like small quiet sparks against the fire of the agate. The pearls come from Zhuji, China — the world's largest freshwater pearl region. A small S925 sterling silver bar near the strand carries our maker's mark — quiet, intentional, easy to miss until you turn the bracelet in your hand. The whole piece is held on a single fine elastic cord, designed to slip on without a clasp and rest evenly against the wrist.
It's a piece you feel when you're wearing it. The agate warms quickly to body temperature; the elastic gives just enough to slide over a knuckle without effort, then sits flat against the skin. It looks at home with bare arms in summer and pushed up under a sweater cuff in winter — and people will ask about it either way.
